Charles Cohen
Charles Cohen was born December 6, 1943 in Bethlehem, PA. He currently resides in
West Paterson, NJ.
Education:
Rider University – Graduated in 1965 with a BS in Business Administration
Work Experience:
1967 – 1968 Assistant buyer of toys and sporting goods at Lit Brothers in Philadelphia, Pa.
1968 –1978 Started working at Creative Playthings (A division of CBS) as a store manager in Wynwood, Pa. Promoted to District Manager, National Sales Manager, Vice President, President.
1978 – 1985 President of Colorforms located in Ramsey, NJ. Grew the business from 5 million dollars to 45 million dollars during his tenure as President.
1986 – Jan 2007 President of CECohenLLC Associates – Specializing in the toy, seasonal and gift products he manufactured in China and sold a plethora of products to the mass merchants in the US (i.e. Walmart, Target, Dollar Tree, Family Dollar, Home Depot, Walgreens, Costco, QVC and mail order catalogs.) Started a pet company called Best of Breed that developed, manufactured and sold breed and personalized dog flags and a line of dog watches called Watchdogs.
Semi retired in January of 2007. Presently consults for two gift companies and works with inventors on launching new products.
